Speaker Biography

Paul Townsend is a financial adviser with Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in the Battle Creek, Michigan, branch office. A native of Southern California, he has a background as a high school math teacher and has worked on Wall Street since 1994. Townsend is a frequent and popular speaker, having presented at over 20 AAII chapters around the country since 2002. He coached a team of high school students to a first-place finish in the Wachovia Securities “National Stock Market Game” in 2005.

investors in their own communities by programming meetings that provide unbiased investment education in a social context.
